Ariel has been a great 4-H project and has given me many life lessons while showing her. We have been to county and state fairs, and in November of 1997 we went to Louisville, Kentucky for a National Show, where she placed third! On January 4, 1998, she gave birth her sixth calf, a red and white Holstein heifer. Unfortunately, a culmination of health problems proved too much, and I lost my big baby on January 10, 1998, when she was seven years old. Thus, her calf became Grand Finale...
